Natana, the cultural club of Technopark is organizing ‘CYBERGALA’, an event that marks the inaugural ceremony of the hugely awaited project for a social cause, named ‘CYBERDOME’. It will be inaugurated by Honorable Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala in Amphitheatre at Technopark on February 17 at 6 PM. The function will be followed by a Commando show. A jubilant music show by famous musician Stephen Devassy & Team will conclude the event.
The project formally envisaged by Home Department to put a stop on the increasing cyber-crimes happening around the State will come up at a 2500 sq.ft. space in Thejaswini building, Technopark. Their major activities involve stemming the threat of ISIS through social media as well as to check growing cases of crime involving child pornography.
WHAT IS CYBERDOME?
The project was conceptualized by Home Department with a noble intention of bringing down the cyber-crimes and strengthening the cyber security system. The project is slated to come up at a 2500 sq.ft. space in Thejaswini building, Technopark. The facility will engage in Internet monitoring, virtual policing, automated threat intelligence in real-time, cyber forensics, virtual courts and developing safe online surfing applications.
The Cyberdome also envisages an online office of Technical experts, Ethical Hackers, Cyber professionals, who can assist the police in the area of Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Investigation. This online office would contain a group of specially selected experts who will give assistance to the police to tackle the various cyber policing issues cropping up in the cyber world.
The effort to overcome major Cyber issues that are threatening the life around the world is a major part of their agenda. They include the likes of Child Pornography and threat of ISIS. This Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative of the Kerala Police is sure to be a major respite for the people of Kerala.
