Technopark TBI received Appreciation award for its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Entrepreneurship) activities in the State of Uttarakhand. The award was constituted by National Forum for People’s Right (NFPR) on December 10, the World Human Rights Day and was presented to Dr K C Chandrasekharan Nair, Secretary & Registrar, Technopark TBI by the Hon’ble Justice Shri J B Koshy, Chairman , Kerala Human Rights Commission in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Oomen Chandy and Swami Sri Gururathnam Jnana Thapaswi, Chief Patron, NFPR.
Technopark TBI is empanelled as a CSR Partner by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai to implement CSR activities in association with the leading CPSEs in the State in the areas of Entrepreneurship Education, Entrepreneurship Development, Skill Development in Educational sector etc.
As a part of CSR initiative by Tehri Hydro Development Corporation (THDC), Ideal Safety Systems (a Govt of Kerala certified service provider in Safety-Hygiene-Waste Management), a virtual incubatee of Technopark TBI, through its mentor Technopark-TBI (a govt. of India certified CSR execution entity) has inked for Sustainable livelihood projects. The projects are being executed in the Himalayan Tsunami affected areas of Uttarakhand. The Ideal Safety Systems mainly focuses on Hygiene-Health-Waste-Safety Concepts in its defined Roles of a Consultant, Representative, Facilitator, Intendor and Trader had its inception in the 2009 as a small time trader in Solid Waste Management Vertical. They are also in demand to execute varied Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects across India of both Government as well Private clients.
Paper carry bag manufacturing, office file manufacturing, drinking water chlorination and computer education for children in varied Dam Revamp areas under THDC are the ongoing projects in the Sustainable Livelihood Projects. The two organizations have agreed to work as a team to rebuild Uttarakhand with grass root level empowerment sustaining rural lives on a longevity mode.
A team of CEOs namely Mr Hirosh M Hussian, Crease Technologies, Mr Arun Raj, Orisys India Consultancy Services, incubates of Technopark TBI visited the flood affected areas in Uttarakhand in order to study and to identify methods to establish internet and Wifi connectivity and thereby enhancing the computer literacy among the people there.
