Socio-Cultural Organisation of Technopark Employees, Prathidhwani distributed Prathidhwani Education Scholarship to another 30 students on 21 December 2015, Monday at Travancore Hall, Park Center, Technopark. Smt T V Anupama IAS (Kerala Food Safety Commissioner) & Sri K G Girish Babu ( CEO, Technopark ) were chief guests for the inauguration.
PES 2015 scholarship to first 50 students distributed by DIG Sri P Vijayan on 14th October 2015. So the PES 2015 would be benefiting for 80 students from Thiruvananthapuram district. Scholarship has given for students from BPL families who secured A+ for all subjects in 2015 SSLC examinations, for their +1, +2 studies by providing a monthly scholarship of Rs.1000/- for 2 years, ie, total scholarship amount is Rs.24000/- in two years. The first installment of these 30 students would be Rs.9000/- ( June 2015 to Feb 2016).
Prathidhwani executive member Sri Vineeth Chandran presided over the function. PES 2015 convener Sri Vineesh T delivered the welcome speech and Prathidhwani secretary Rajeev Krishnan conveyed thanks to everyone. Prathidhwani President Sri. Bijumon invited each student to stage and Smt T V Anupama, Sri Girish Babu, our sponsors Sri Ajith from Speridian, Smt Diana from Speridian, Sri Sunilraj from Quest Global, Sri Visakh from Polus Software were handed over cheque’s to 30 students. Prathidhwani Treasurer Sri Raneesh A R handed over our Prathidhwani’s momento to Smt T V Anupama.
Prathidhwani, the Socio-Cultural Organization of Technopark Employees, initiated an education support programme called Prathidhwani Education Scholarship (PES 2015) to help excellent students from the poor financial background. The news about the PES 2015 scholarship were published in leading newspapers, in response to this we received 154 applications from the students from Thiruvananthapuram district. Based on the applications received the students / parents were contacted by Prathidhwani. Each student application was studied based on a scoring system which evaluates the social and financial conditions and 117 students were shortlisted based on the score. Out of 117 student’s Prathidhwani managed to distribute scholarship for 80 students so far.
We distributed the PES 2015 to 50 students on 14th October 2015 at Travancore Hall. Sri P Vijayan IPS (DIG Of Police) and Sri K G Girish Babu ( CEO, Technopark ) were the chief guests and they distributed the first installment of scholarship Rs.6000/- to 50 students. The second installment of scholarship to the first 50 students Rs.3000/- ( Dec 2015 to Feb 2016 ) would also be transferred to their accounts by December 2015.
