Kerala IT to take lead at CeBIT 2014

CeBIT paves a platform for all major IT and ITES companies from across the world to showcase their innovations, products and services. Kerala IT which is becoming the significant player in attracting IT investments to India, the state of Kerala has been instrumental in bringing world’s largest mega B2B professional IT event, the CeBIT, to India.

Kerala, as a state partner of CeBIT is all set to participate in the CeBIT India-2014, one of the biggest IT/ICT meets in the world scheduled to be held in Bengaluru from November 12 to 14, is aimed at attracting IT investment. Kerala IT is represented at CeBIT India 2014 by high-level officials from the Information Technology Department, including the CEOs of the state’s IT parks — Mr Hrishikesh Nair of Infopark in Kochi, Mr K G Girish Babu of Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram and Mr Ajith Kumar Pillai of Cyberpark — and Mr S Ramnath, the Managing Director of the Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Limited (KSITIL).

Being a regular participant at the CeBIT for the past 19 years and a key partner of CeBIT’s Hannover and Australia editions, the delegation from Kerala will make a detailed presentation on the major on going and proposed projects of the three IT parks the state. The central theme of CeBIT India “New Perspectives in IT Business” will cover the trends that are shaping up the IT industry today, including social media, big data and cloud.
