Bharat Joshi, the British Deputy High Commissioner, Chennai, on Tuesday (29/10/2013) visited the Technopark in order to understand how to strengthen the ties between companies.
Joshi was received by Technopark Sr Business Development Manager M Vasudevan. He was joined by senior officials of various Technopark companies for a meeting on strengthening support for maximum trade and investment for the IT/ITES. The team discussed on establishing a joint innovation cell at the Technopark towards reverse innovation, improvement of services for British business group members, delegation visits to both India and UK; proposal to set up a satellite centre of the UK Trade and Investment here and getting UK venture capitalists into funding IT companies in Kerala.
The meeting was attended by Vijaya Kumar, CEO, Test House; Arun Narayan, COO, UST Global; Connel Veigas, CEO, RM ESI; Binu Jacob, CEO, Experion Technologies; Pradeep Gopi, Head- HR, SunTec; Renjith, CEO, GTech and other representatives of UK companies like Allianz, Alamy Images, Sherston Education Software etc. The Deputy High Commissioner said he would visit Kerala more often and provide maximum support for trade and investment, especially for the IT/ITES industry.
