“Youth holds the key to all solutions”

Vivekananda Study Circle- the socio-cultural organization in Technopark, commemorated the 69th National Independence day in Technopark. with a program featuring the presence of Mr. Richard Hay. Member of Parliament, who was the chief guest. Mr. Hrishikesh Nair, CEO, Technopark was also part of the event, which was held on 18th Aug 2016 at Travancore Hall, Park Centre, Technopark.

Richard Hay shared some of the initiatives put forward by Central Government to empower the poor people, farmers and labourers. Moreover he requested youth’s of India to come up with solutions for the issues faced by public in our country. He added that now we are in an era for development of India. He appreciated social activities in and around Technopark, that are initiated by VSC.

Team VSC handed over memorandum to Richard, requesting help for construction of Toilets in Agasthya Bala Samskaara Kendram, Kuttichal, TVM which is a school for the tribal children run by Seva Bharati and affiliated to Bharathiya Vidyaniketan. This was followed by a silent prayer to pay respect to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for our country. There was also a Rakshabandhan related program organised wherein, techies tied rakhi’s on their colleague’s wrists
