Kerala, the state with a long back history, myths, stories about its formation, tradition and culture. On November 1st 2014, our state became 58 and to commemorate Kerala Piravi, Technopark organises “Amma Malayalam” a day for Malayalam on Nov 5th. It’s a way to show respect and an honest attempt to uphold our mother tongue (Malayalam) and the importance to preserve our motherland, where we all born, Kerala. Didn’t you ever feel to bring out the proud Malayali in you? And this is a chance to become a complete Malayali.
The Celebration is named as “Amma Malayalam” and Technopark invites everyone to bring out the Malayali in them and be a complete Malayali on that day. There are various competitions and events organised as part of Amma Malayalam on Nov 5th from 2.00pm onwards. Among the competitions, Uthama Malayali is the one which challenge Malayalis to take part in it to find out the best Malayali at Technopark. To become the Uthama Malayali, the criteria are the person should have pleasing Malayali attire, good knowledge about Kerala and Malayalam and fluent enough to speak only in Malayalam. One winner will be selected as Uthama Malayali from both male and female category.
Along with this, there will be presentation about Kerala History, recitation of Malayalam poems “Kavya Narthaki of Changambuzha and “Amma Malayalam” of Kureeppuzha Sreekumar, a workshop on Malayalam: possibilities in new generation by Swathantra Malayalam Computing Secretary Sri Anivar Aravind and cultural programme either Thiruvathira or Mohiniyattam. The whole team of Technopark is ready to honour our great language Malayalam and the proud Kerala through “Amma Malayalam”. Be a part of it and experience the Malayali in you.
